About the Role
Ensure the integrity and security of our digital infrastructure by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential cyber threats. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security measures and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps
- Develop and implement security protocols and policies in compliance with regulatory standards
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, documenting findings and remediation steps
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure
- Perform regular compliance audits and security training for staff
- Stay updated with current cybersecurity trends, tools, and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of networking, encryption, and authentication protocols
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Proficiency in using security tools like SIEM, IDS, and firewalls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
