About the Role
Lead R&D for autonomous warehouse robotics systems handling 2M+ SKUs. Drive hardware/software integration for next-generation fulfillment robots while managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. Your innovations will redefine e-commerce logistics efficiency for Fortune 100 retailers.
Responsibilities
- Architect ROS-based robotics systems
- Develop SLAM algorithms for dynamic environments
- Oversee hardware prototyping and testing
- Implement computer vision quality control
- Define safety standards for human-robot collaboration
- Optimize motion planning and manipulation systems
- Coordinate patent filings for novel inventions
Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, EE, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years industrial robotics experience
- Expertise in ROS, C++, Python
- Proven track record in robotic manipulation
- Experience with LIDAR/vision sensor integration
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards (R15.08)
- Publications in ICRA/IROS
- Management experience preferred
