About the Role
Design next-generation satellite constellations enabling global quantum encryption at AeroLytica Space. Lead cross-functional teams in developing secure-space networking infrastructure with optical inter-satellite links. Your architectural decisions will influence $650M DoD space network initiatives with national security implications.
Responsibilities
- Architect constellation orbital mechanics and coverage patterns
- Specify laser communication payload requirements
- Model anti-jamming/radiation hardening specifications
- Define ground station interface protocols
- Coordinate with launch vehicle integration teams
- Establish cybersecurity standards for space systems
- Develop V&V plans for FSO crosslinks
Requirements
- MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering or Physics
- 10+ years satellite systems design experience
- Knowledge of ITU spectrum allocation regulations
- Experience with STK/ASTROGATOR simulation tools
- Familiarity with space-hardenend electronics
- Active security clearance clearance eligible
- ISO/IEC 15408 certification experience
