About the Role
Advance quantum algorithm development for optimization problems critical to logistics and material science applications. Develop quantum error correction techniques while collaborating with hardware teams to co-design algorithm-processor architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design superconducting quantum processor layouts
- Implement quantum simulation frameworks in Qiskit
- Develop algorithms for quantum advantage demonstrations
- Publish research in premier scientific journals
- Lead cross-functional quantum hardware/software integration
- Secure intellectual property through patent filings
Requirements
- PhD in Quantum Information/Physics/CS
- 5+ years quantum circuit design experience
- Publications in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise with trapped ion/superconducting systems
- Proficiency in Python/C++ quantum frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic control systems
