Lead IP strategy for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients, handling patent prosecution and licensing agreements.
Responsibilities
- Draft complex patent applications
- Conduct IP due diligence for M&A
- Manage global patent portfolios
- Litigation support for Hatch-Waxman cases
- Advise on FDA regulatory compliance
- Negotiate technology licenses
- Train junior associates
Requirements
- JD from T14 law school
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related
- USPTO registration
- 8+ years patent law experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/gene therapy IP
- Federal court experience
- Client development skills
