About the Role
Lead the design of a next-generation data platform serving 1,000+ enterprise users. Manage 20-person engineering team building petabyte-scale analytics systems. Your leadership will drive strategic data initiatives enabling real-time business decisions company-wide.
Responsibilities
- Architect event-driven data infrastructure on Snowflake
- Establish data governance frameworks
- Develop SLAs for critical data pipelines
- Optimize $1M+ cloud data platform budget
- Mentor senior engineers and technical managers
- Collaborate with C-suite on data strategy
Requirements
- 12+ years in data engineering
- 5+ years leadership experience managing technical teams
- Expertise with modern data stacks (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake)
- Proven ability to scale data platforms
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Advanced degree in quantitative field
