About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team and nurture young minds in a supportive and engaging environment. This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, fostering social and academic growth, and collaborating with parents and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Supervise students during classroom activities and transitions
- Maintain accurate student records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
- State teaching certification for Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching
