About the Role
As a licensed electrician, you will design, install, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings, ensuring safety and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining electrical wiring and systems.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Conducting safety inspections and tests on electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Providing estimates and project plans for clients.
- Collaborating with contractors and other tradespeople.
- Maintaining accurate inventory of electrical materials.
Requirements
- Valid electrician’s license in the state of employment.
- Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program.
- Proficiency in electrical theory and wiring procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for climbing, lifting, and standing.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
