About the Role
Spearhead machine learning initiatives for personalized healthcare solutions. Develop predictive models using clinical data to improve patient outcomes. Lead a team of data scientists and engineers in deploying production ML systems.
Responsibilities
- Design ML pipelines for genomic and EHR data processing
- Implement deep learning models using PyTorch/TensorFlow
- Collaborate with medical researchers on model validation
- Optimize model performance for HIPAA-compliant cloud environments
- Establish MLOps practices with MLflow and Kubeflow
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders
- Evaluate emerging AI research for clinical applications
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 5+ years experience deploying production ML systems
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, and cloud ML services
- Deep knowledge of NLP and time-series analysis
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Proven leadership of technical teams
- Publications in top ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
