About the Role
BayTech Innovations seeks a Mid-Level Software Engineer to develop SaaS solutions for logistics clients. Opportunity to build microservices architecture and lead feature sprints. Fully remote with quarterly team meetups.
Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain Rails APIs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries
- Write RSpec test coverage
- Collaborate with React frontend team
- Participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot AWS deployment issues
Requirements
- 3+ years Ruby on Rails experience
- Proficiency in RESTful API design
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Knowledge of OAuth/JWT security
- Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- GitHub portfolio required
