About the Role
Bright Horizons Academy seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs in inclusive classrooms. Collaborate with teachers to implement IEPs and foster academic growth.
Responsibilities
- Adapt lesson materials for individual student needs
- Provide one-on-one behavioral/academic support
- Assist with classroom management
- Document student progress
- Facilitate social skill development
- Operate assistive technology tools
Requirements
- Associate degree in education or related field
- Texas Paraprofessional Certification
- 1+ years experience in special education
- Patience and trauma-informed approach
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
