About the Role
Join Sunshine Health Services as an LPN providing direct patient care at our outpatient rehabilitation facility. You’ll monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement treatment plans. This role serves as the frontline caregiver for patients recovering from surgeries and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and document care
- Administer medications and treatments per orders
- Monitor and record vital signs every 4 hours
- Assist with wound care and dressing changes
- Educate patients on post-discharge care plans
- Coordinate care with RNs and therapists
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Requirements
- Active Florida LPN license
- Graduate of accredited practical nursing program
- 1+ years clinical experience (rehab preferred)
- Proficiency in EMR documentation
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs
