About the Role
Green Valley Grocers needs part-time Sales Associates for our organic market. Process transactions, stock shelves, and educate customers about local produce. Flexible scheduling with weekend shifts required.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS system (training provided)
- Rotate stock using FIFO method
- Prepare weekly flyers and promotions
- Maintain HACCP logs for cold storage
- Process SNAP/EBT transactions
- Escalate customer complaints to manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail experience preferred
- Ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly
- Food handler’s permit within 30 days
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Availability for 6 AM shifts
