About the Role
We need a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and maintaining patient records. Assist in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by the physician.
- Perform diagnostic tests and collect laboratory specimens.
- Update and maintain patient medical records accurately.
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks.
- Ensure patient comfort and privacy during clinic activities.
- Educate patients about procedures and aftercare.
- Prepare and update treatment rooms and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Empathy and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical software and EHR systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
