About the Role
Join Green Valley Public Schools as an Elementary School Teacher, shaping young minds in grades K-5. You’ll create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues to meet educational standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain classroom discipline and safety
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
- Adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
- Administer standardized tests
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- State teaching certification
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass background check
