About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Counsel to join our legal team to support our intellectual property matters and help protect our company’s innovations and creations.
Responsibilities
- Manage trademark and patent portfolio, including filings and prosecutions
- Conduct intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions
- Provide legal advice on IP matters to business teams
- Review and draft IP-related agreements, such as license and collaboration agreements
- Monitor and analyze IP trends and developments in our industry
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patents and trademarks
- Active membership in at least one state bar
- Excellent knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright laws
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
