About the Role
Denver Public Schools seeks an enthusiastic 3rd grade teacher to create engaging lessons aligned with Colorado Academic Standards. Collaborate with grade-level teams to foster inclusive learning environments emphasizing social-emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop differentiated lesson plans
- Conduct formative student assessments
- Maintain positive classroom culture
- Coordinate IEP/504 plan implementation
- Lead parent-teacher conferences
- Integrate technology in instruction
Requirements
- Colorado teaching license
- BA in Elementary Education (MA preferred)
- 2+ years classroom experience
- Cultural competency training
- ELA/Science of Reading endorsement
- Bilingual Spanish desirable
