About the Role
PowerStream Electrical Services seeks apprentices to learn commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance. This 4-year program combines on-the-job training with classroom education.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeymen with system installations
- Learn blueprint reading and NEC codes
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Participate in safety meetings
- Install conduits, wiring, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Complete required classroom coursework
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work at heights
- Physical fitness for manual labor
- Enrollment in state apprenticeship program
