About the Role
Inspire the next generation of mathematicians by teaching high school math. Develop lessons, assess student progress, and foster a love for numbers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus courses
- Assess student learning and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
- Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with department colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certificate or the ability to obtain one
- Strong content knowledge and classroom management skills
- Ability to create inclusive learning environments for diverse students
