About the Role
Join Bright Beginnings Academy as a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support early childhood development in a nurturing environment. You’ll work closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum and foster social skills. This role provides essential foundational learning for children aged 3-5.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teacher in preparing lesson materials
- Supervise children during indoor/outdoor activities
- Help with classroom organization and cleanliness
- Support children during meals and nap times
- Communicate daily updates to parents
- Assist in developmental assessments
- Model positive social interactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to engage with preschoolers
- Patience and enthusiasm for early childhood education
