About the Role
Work alongside certified nurses providing compassionate care to our patient community. This role focuses on daily living activities support, vitals monitoring, and patient mobility assistance. No prior experience needed – complete on-the-job training!
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse) and record data
- Help transfer or repositioning bedridden patients safely
- Communicate patient concerns promptly to nursing team
- Maintain medical supply inventory and organize patient rooms
- Provide emotional support to families during hospital visits
- Assist in feeding patients as assigned to nursing plan
- Maintain hygiene standards in clinical settings
Requirements
- Completed CNA program or equivalent healthcare training
- Active CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when assisting transfers
- Strong communication skills for patient rapport building
- Empathy and sensitivity to patient wellness needs
- Physical fitness to withstand long periods of standing
- Reliable transportation for early morning and evening shifts
