About the Role
Join our public outreach team! We’re seeking a PR Specialist to manage our city’s positive image through strategic communications and engagement across press, social media, and community events.
Responsibilities
- Develop PR campaigns aligned with agency goals
- Write and distribute press releases
- Plan community engagement activities
- Manage social media channels and monitor trends
- Build relationships with reporters and media outlets
- Create multimedia content supporting program visibility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Communications
- 3+ years experience in media relations
- Expertise in writing for multiple platforms
- Analytical skills to track campaign impact
- Knowledge of social media tools and analytics
- Strong creative problem-solving skills
