About the Role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse at BayCare Medical Center. Deliver compassionate patient care in our 240-bed facility, serving patients across 6 specialties. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding healthcare experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care options
- Collaborate with care team members to coordinate patient transitions
- Document all patient interactions and care activities in electronic health record
- Maintain professional certifications and current nursing skills
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- BSN preferred but not required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
