About the Role
Support banquet operations at The Georgian Terrace Hotel by managing event execution and service teams. You’ll coordinate all aspects from setup to breakdown ensuring seamless experiences for up to 500 guests. This role requires strong organizational skills to handle multiple concurrent events.
Responsibilities
- Supervise banquet servers and setup crews
- Prepare BEOs and floor diagrams
- Conduct pre-event staff briefings
- Coordinate with culinary team on timing
- Manage beverage inventories and pars
- Resolve guest concerns promptly
- Monitor labor costs to stay within budget
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in hospitality or equivalent experience
- 3+ years banquet/catering experience
- TIPS alcohol certification required
- Proficiency in TripleSeat or similar event software
- Proven leadership of teams (15+ staff)
- Flexibility for late nights/weekends/holidays
- Excellent communication skills
