About the Role
Join our school as an Elementary School Teacher, shaping young minds through engaging lessons and nurturing a supportive learning environment. You’ll develop curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment
- Evaluate student performance through assessments and observations
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers on interdisciplinary projects
- Implement differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Supervise students in non-classroom settings during school hours
- Participate in teacher training and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid State Teaching Certification
- Experience with Common Core Standards
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to create engaging activities for elementary students
- Patience and ability to handle challenging classroom situations
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on student needs
