About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a High School Math Teacher, shaping young minds and igniting a love for learning. You’ll inspire students in grades 9-12, using creative methods to teach algebra, geometry, and calculus.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Deliver differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Prepare and grade assignments, tests, and projects
- Provide timely academic feedback and support
- Collaborate with parents and guardians on student progress
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment
- Participate in staff development and curriculum planning
- Advise math club or related extracurricular activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
- Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Education
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in math curriculum development
- Experience with educational technology a plus
- Commitment to student success and professional growth
- Criminal background check clearance required
