About the Role
Sunshine Academy seeks a dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to foster academic and social growth in a diverse classroom. Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, differentiate instruction, and maintain positive parent communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-based curriculum
- Administer formative assessments
- Manage inclusive classroom environment
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Lead after-school tutoring sessions
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Attend professional development workshops
Requirements
- Illinois teaching certificate (K-5)
- BA in Elementary Education
- 1+ years classroom experience
- EPI training preferred
- Bilingual Spanish beneficial
- Clear background check
- TB test clearance
