About the Role
City of Sacramento Parks Department seeks maintenance workers to care for public spaces. Perform landscaping, playground repairs, and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns and trim hedges
- Repair benches and playground equipment
- Install irrigation systems
- Remove graffiti
- Monitor tree health
- Winterize facilities
- Operate small machinery
Requirements
- 2+ years landscaping experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Pesticide applicator license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- CDL Class B preferred
- Knowledge of native plants
- Public Works experience a plus
