About the Role
Denver County Human Services seeks a Child Protective Services Social Worker to investigate abuse/neglect cases. Must conduct home visits, coordinate services, and testify in court. Requires compassion paired with thorough documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Investigate child welfare reports
- Develop safety plans for families
- Maintain case documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement
- Present cases in juvenile court
- Provide crisis intervention
Requirements
- MSW degree required
- LCSW licensure in Colorado
- 2+ years CPS experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
