About the Role
Denver Climate Control seeks motivated individuals for our HVAC apprenticeship program. This entry-level position trains learners in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems under master technicians’ supervision. You’ll gain hands-on experience in residential service calls while building skills toward journeyman certification. Company vehicle and tools provided during work hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with HVAC system installations
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks under supervision
- Troubleshoot basic HVAC system components
- Maintain clean work areas and properly dispose of materials
- Learn to handle refrigerants under EPA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls
- Stock service vehicles and maintain equipment
- Complete apprenticeship coursework assignments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarity
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Willingness to complete EPA 608 certification within 6 months
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Customer service orientation
- Commitment to 3-year apprenticeship program
