About the Role
Inspire young learners in a Title I public school. Develop culturally responsive curriculum and maintain inclusive classroom environment. Focus on literacy development and social-emotional learning.
Responsibilities
- Implement Common Core standards
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Administer standardized assessments
- Lead after-school tutoring 2x/week
- Collaborate on IEP teams
Requirements
- MA teaching license (1-6)
- SEI endorsement
- 2+ years urban school experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Classroom management skills
- Mandatory CORI check
