About the Role
Join our compassionate team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at BrightCare Nursing Home. You will provide essential care to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role is vital in maintaining a supportive and safe environment for our elderly residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
- Help residents with mobility, including transfers and walking.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
