About the Role
Join our culinary team as a Line Cook at our vibrant downtown restaurant! You’ll prepare delicious dishes from scratch to delight our guests while maintaining our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Follow recipes and portioning instructions accurately
- Maintain clean, organized workstation and cooking equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during preparation
- Collaborate with fellow cooks to meet daily prep and service needs
- Assist in inventory management and ordering when needed
- Provide suggestions for menu improvements based on customer feedback
Requirements
- Prior culinary training or line cook experience preferred
- Working knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Highly reliable with exceptional work ethic
- Passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction
