About the Role
Charlotte City Schools seeks a 3rd Grade Teacher to join our Title I school. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards while fostering inclusive learning environments. Must demonstrate commitment to educational equity.
Responsibilities
- Create differentiated lesson plans
- Assess student progress regularly
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Manage classroom behavior
- Communicate with families weekly
- Participate in PLC meetings
Requirements
- NC teaching certification (K-6)
- 2+ years classroom experience
- ESOL endorsement preferred
- Data-driven instruction knowledge
- Classroom management skills
