About the Role
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 50-bed medical/surgical unit. Provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and compassion in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active RN license in state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years acute care experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion and wound care skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
