About the Role
Maplewood Senior Living seeks compassionate LPNs to provide direct resident care in our assisted living facility. This full-time position involves administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with RNs and physicians. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our residents’ wellbeing while adhering to all healthcare regulations. Shifts include days, evenings, and rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Document care in electronic health records system (EHR)
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians on care plans
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) as needed
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
- Supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of Florida
- CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years clinical experience in geriatrics setting
- Knowledge of EHR systems and medical documentation
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to lift/move 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays
