About the Role
Join our dedicated teaching team as an Elementary School Teacher. You’ll inspire and educate young minds, fostering a lifelong love of learning through engaging lesson plans and positive student-teacher relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver grade-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse student needs
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments and observations
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators on curriculum development
- Participate in district-level professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- Experience with elementary education preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for working with children and fostering a love of learning
