Job Description
About the Role
We’re hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker to help maintain our city’s beautiful parks and public spaces. You’ll perform various landscaping and maintenance tasks to ensure clean, safe, and attractive community areas.
Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, and recreational areas
- Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers)
- Perform minor repairs to park facilities
- Remove litter and debris
- Plant and maintain floral displays
- Assist with preparation for special events
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Report maintenance issues to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior landscaping or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
- Basic carpentry and repair skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Team player with positive attitude
