About the Role
Liberty Financial Partners seeks a junior Financial Analyst to join our investment banking advisory team. This position supports quantitative analysis for M&A transactions across multiple industries. You’ll prepare financial models, valuation assessments, and investor presentations while engaging with senior bankers and clients. This role accelerates career development within a premium boutique firm.
Responsibilities
- Build complex financial models for valuation analysis
- Prepare offering memoranda and pitch presentations
- Conduct industry research and competitive analysis
- Analyze company financial statements and performance metrics
- Support due diligence processes for transactions
- Create client reports and executive summaries
- Assist with transaction structuring documentation
- Maintain market trend tracking databases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 1-3 years of relevant finance experience
- Advanced Excel modeling skills (VBA preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Progress toward CFA/CPA desirable
