Job Description
About the Role
Join our electrical contracting team as an Electrician Helper. You’ll provide support for commercial wiring jobs through material prep, tools management and assisting licensed electricians in safe electrical system installations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas and assemble necessary tools and equipment
- Assist electricians with rough-in and finishing installations
- Measure, cut, bend and install conduit per blueprint specifications
- Pull and connect wires between switchboards, junction boxes and fixtures
- Safely operate electrical testing equipment to verify circuit continuity
- Maintain clean, organized tools and materials storage areas
- Follow all safety procedures and best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic hand and power tool skills
