About the Role
Set up and operate computer-controlled machines to fabricate precision parts for automotive suppliers. Monitor production, perform quality checks, and maintain manufacturing equipment. Contribute to production efficiency and quality assurance in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining centers according to specifications
- Load materials and set machine parameters
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Meet production targets while maintaining quality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean workspace
- Document production data and report issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years CNC operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, gauges
- Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to follow complex instructions
