About the Role
SwiftDeliveries is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting packages and goods from our warehouse to our customers’ locations efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Ensure packages are delivered in good condition
- Maintain delivery vehicle in clean and serviceable condition
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with local delivery routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues
