About the Role
We’re hiring a Forklift Operator for our busy distribution warehouse. You’ll be responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations and product distribution.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely
- Load and unload trucks with precision
- Move materials within the warehouse as directed
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols
- Work efficiently to meet productivity goals
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification required
- 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
