About the Role
We are seeking an Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades K-6. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, develop lesson plans, and assess student progress. Make a lasting impact on young minds by fostering a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification.
- Experience with elementary education (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with young children.
- Knowledge of educational technology and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
