About the Role
Sunrise Elementary seeks an enthusiastic 3rd Grade Teacher to create engaging lesson plans and foster academic growth. You’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to developing well-rounded students through differentiated instruction and social-emotional learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in professional learning communities
- Attend staff meetings and professional development
- Supervise students during non-instructional periods
Requirements
- Valid state teaching certification (K-6)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement
