About the Role
Responsible for creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards while fostering student growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and assess student progress.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging lesson plans for core subjects
- Assess and document student progress regularly
- Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians
- Implement classroom management strategies
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
- Adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs
- Organize educational activities and field trips
- Monitor student safety during school activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- State teaching certification for elementary level
- Understanding of child development principles
- 2+ years classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in educational technology tools
- Effective communication and patience
- Ability to pass background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
