Job Description
About the Role
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, supervise logistics staff, and optimize inventory management in a distribution center. Drive operational efficiency and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics specialists for deliveries
- Ensure workplace safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations and training
- Identify efficiency improvements and implement process changes
- Resolve operational issues and equipment malfunctions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of warehouse operations experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g. WMS)
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices
- Problem-solving aptitude and high attention to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
