About the Role
Provide exceptional patient care as a Nurse Practitioner in our team-based, patient-centered healthcare facility. In this role, you’ll assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and establish differential diagnoses
- Formulate and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and referring to specialty services as needed
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, or a related field from an accredited program
- Active nurse practitioner license in the state of employment
- Board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a primary care or comparable setting
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, as well as a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
