About the Role
Join our team of mortgage experts as a Loan Officer and help clients turn their homeownership dreams into reality. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and guide borrowers through the loan process from application to closing.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
- Evaluate and process mortgage loan applications
- Determine loan eligibility and provide pre-approval letters
- Connect clients with suitable mortgage products and provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
- Coordinate with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely loan closings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of loan programs, guidelines, and regulations
- Proactively market loan products and services to generate new business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners
- Knowledge of loan process, products, and regulations
- Experience working with borrowers of diverse backgrounds and income levels
