About the Role
Springfield City Government seeks skilled maintenance workers to upkeep public parks and recreational facilities. Perform groundskeeping, equipment repairs, and seasonal preparations for community spaces.
Responsibilities
- Mow/trim park lawns
- Maintain playground equipment
- Install seasonal decorations
- Operate light machinery
- Monitor irrigation systems
- Respond to service requests
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- 1+ year groundskeeping experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Physical stamina for outdoor work
- Ability to work weekends
- Knowledge of landscaping practices
